The air reverberates with an eager hum as your movements pick up speed and time seems to slow down.

Reaction trigger: Whenever a creature is about to perform an action that you are aware of. You may be able to trigger this spell on other conditions (such as if a creature is about to fall into a pit, you could use this spell to take a turn and grapple them before they fall); the DM has final say on whether you would be able to do this.

Effect: You immediately take a turn, interrupting the current creature's turn and action.

During this extra turn, the creature is considered to be "concentrating" on its action. Thus, if it were to take damage, it must make a Concentration check. If anything would cause it to lose Concentration, or if something would cause it to be unable to use that action (such as disarming it's weapon if it is using the Attack action), it loses the use of that action (if it a weapon attack as part of the Attack action, it would only lose that one weapon attack).

After this extra turn ends, you are

Incapacitated Incapacitated
until the end of your next turn.

Using this spell several times before you finish a short or long rest tolls your body. Every time you use this spell after the first before you complete a short or long rest, you must succeed on a DC 10 CHA saving throw, or else suffer 1 level of

Exhaustion Exhaustion
. The DC increases by 5 for each subsequent use, and resets after you complete a long rest.

I anticipate... that it's my turn now!
